CHMB's executive leadership team has accumulated decades of expertise and proven
success in its work with medical practices of all sizes and specialties.
From medical billing and practice management to human resources and
information technology, CHMB executives are thoroughly dedicated to
providing our clients with comprehensive, highly effective, personalized
service. To optimize our clients' experience with CHMB, every member of the
executive team is committed to ensuring that each team member is fully
trained and up to date on the regulations and operational and technical aspects
of our products and services.
Executive Team
Bob Svendsen
CEO and Co-Founder
Bob Svendsen provides financial and strategic leadership for CHMB. His 25
plus years of financial, executive and entrepreneurial experience in industries
such as senior housing, property management and home healthcare uniquely
qualify him to lead CHMB's management team. An early participant in the
assisted-living industry, Svendsen also founded California Healthcare
Management. His commitment to customer service and a model of shared
success shapes his leadership of CHMB. Svendsen is an active member of
Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and Healthcare Billing
and Management Association (HBMA).
Janet Boos
President and Co-Founder
Janet Boos oversees the management team; provides strategic planning,
financial and business development leadership; serves as privacy officer of
the HIPAA compliance committee; and provides compliance support for
clients. Prior to CHMB, Boos founded Premiere Healthcare, a practice
management and billing solutions consulting firm for medical groups, MSOs,
IPAs and integrated healthcare delivery networks. Her experience also
includes installing and supporting practice management software for more
than 300 clients in Southern California. With more than 20 years in
healthcare, Boos has held various medical office positions including
administrator of a large specialty practice. She is an active member of
Healthcare Billing and Management Association (HBMA).
Ron Anderson
Director of Business Development
Ron Anderson, a CHMB shareholder, oversees CHMB's business development
initiatives. Involved in healthcare for more than 15 years, he held senior
sales account positions for a national provider of practice management
billing systems and a regional billing services company in Louisiana prior
to joining CHMB. His expertise in revenue cycle management, reimbursement
analytics and healthcare information systems is a valuable resource for
CHMB clients. Anderson, a member of the Medical Group Management
Association (MGMA) since 1996, and past chair of the MGMA Information
Technology Advisory Panel, was recently honored with the prestigious
Lifetime Member of California MGMA Award.
Diane Prettyman
Director of Operations
Diane Prettyman provides operations and staffing support and leadership to
the dedicated account representatives who supervise each of CHMB's teams.
She has more than 20 years of experience in medical office and billing
operations and works closely with CHMB's CEO and president to ensure that
operations are staffed and performing to meet client expectations and
company goals. Prior to joining CHMB, Prettyman was an administrator for a
general surgery group and oversaw both the medical practice and the group-owned
ambulatory surgical center.
Martha Pinal
Director of Client Services
Martha Pinal manages a team of professionals who are responsible for
implementing new services and providing training and ongoing support for
new and existing clients. She has more than 15 years of experience in
physician group practice billing and collections. Pinal's knowledge of
provider and group credentialing and licensing greatly benefits new and
existing clients. Her dedication to customer service and attention to
detail provide new clients with a highly valued level of comfort before,
during and after implementing CHMB outsourced billing services.
Isaac Nye
Director of Information Technology
Isaac’s 12 years of experience helps provide technological direction and
management for CHMB’s vital enterprise level systems and technical team. He
has a Master of Science degree in Business and Technology Management (Suma
Cum Laude) and a BS from Coleman University in Computer Science. Isaac
served in the U.S. Navy earning 1 Combat Action Medal and 2 awards of the
distinguished Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. Certifications
include Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Cisco Certified
Network Associate (CCNA). He also serves as a computer science instructor
at Coleman University.
Jack Daleo
Director of Human Resources
Jack Daleo brings more than 25 years of human resources experience to CHMB
in the areas of recruitment and staffing; training; organizational
development; employee/labor relations; legal compliance; and HR planning.
His background includes experience with Fortune 100 and 500
healthcare companies such as GlaxoSmithKline, Laboratory Corporation of
America and Allied Clinical Laboratories. Daleo provides consultative
services to CHMB clients on organizational, employee relations, compliance,
workers compensation and disability issues.
Vicki Brown, RRT, RCP
Director of Clinical Services
Vicki Brown has over 20 years of clinical and administrative healthcare
experience in multiple capacities as a registered respiratory therapist,
educator, administrator, clinic owner, quality director, cardiopulmonary
and imaging director and healthcare consultant. Brown has served in various
settings including large medical centers, outpatient clinics and physician
offices. Her expertise lies in workflow and process improvement; program
development and implementation; and practice transformation. Her five years
at the University of California, Los Angeles, included technical training
in cardiopulmonary physiology and a critical care internship in respiratory
therapy at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Marianne Gregson
Director of Sales and Marketing
Marianne Gregson brings over 25 years of experience in marketing and sales
to her role at CHMB. Prior to joining the team, she served as director of
marketing and communications for the non-profit NTC Foundation. Gregson
also spearheaded communications operations at two of Southern California's
leading tourist destinations, as director of sales at Sea World of California
and director of marketing at Legoland California. At CHMB, Gregson applies
her program management skills to expand the company into new geographic
regions and practice specialties.
Darius Shayegan
Director of Physician Advocacy
Prior to joining CHMB, Darius Shayegan served as director of client
services and business development of Shayegan Medical Administration Inc.
He has served in both business operations and scientific research
capacities in healthcare since 1998. A common theme throughout his career
has been the focus on improving the quality and effectiveness of both
treatment and physician business administration through education and the
use of novel analytical tools. Darius Shayegan is a published author and
recipient of a United States patent comprising several of these analytical
methodologies.
Marilyn Shayegan
Director of Reimbursement
Marilyn Shayegan has more than 25 years of experience in practice
administration and medical billing management. Prior to becoming a director
at CHMB, Marilyn Shayegan founded and served as CEO of Shayegan Medical
Administration Inc., which provided billing oversight to more than 200
Southern California-based physicians. Upon CHMB's acquisition of the firm,
Marilyn Shayegan has continued to provide company-wide leadership in the
area of practice revenue cycle management.
